Look in the mirror and suppose you reflected the most beautiful countenance of all mankind. Suppose you had the finest facial features and the fittest body so that all the world envied your eminent human form. But wait, suppose you tried to exhale on the dry mirror and there was no moisture, no breath, no spirit, no consciousness! What then? What good was your beautiful form? The scripture says "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."  Pastor Mark argues that spiritually, it is an unprofitable and unjustifiable delusion to have "faith" without "works".  And so It follows from the scriptures that "faith" (in such a case) is dead being alone.
