Let No Man Deceive You

The title of the sermon is "Let No Man Deceive You"!  So beware of deceivers! Unfortunately, the majority of religious men and even clergymen today are deceivers! The Bible points out three prominent deceits found in the text of 1 John 3:5-10:

First, the deceit of God's so-called impudent work concerning the Devil. What was his purpose and what did he accomplish? Why my Bible says that God was manifest in the flesh to destroy the works of the devil and to save us to the uttermost that come unto God by him!

Second, there is a certain deceit tone today espousing the lie that Christians are "broken" and "sinful". However, the Bible is clear about the noble and pure life and godly behaviors that a true Christian will manifest because of his new divine nature.

Third, the Bible dispels the apprehension that it is normal to sin: all the while, the scriptures show clearly the sinner is a child of the devil and is manifestly estranged and blinded to his own demise.

My pastoral advice is for you is to get saved the biblical way and then spend your time finding a church that preaches and teaches salvation by faith without works. But more than that find a church that preaches the reality of living a divine holy life as we live and follow the true word of God (this type of church is extremely rare). Send me an email if you need help with true biblical salvation or if you need help in finding a church in your city (contact Pastor Mark at austingatherings@gmail.com).

Austin Gatherings uses the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, and Pastor Mark Jones will be preaching today out of 1 John 3:5-10.
