Outside of the Bible in the perfect context, one shouldn't believe most of what they hear! For us to say "most" is not hyperbole! Contrariwise, not being able to believe "'most' of what you hear" is a sad consequence that many false prophets have gone out into the world. It follows that from the time of the ascension of Christ to this sad day, many false teachers are still rising up.
In this sermon, Pastor Mark is going to discuss the strategies and perspectives of how to avoid these false prophets. And, he invites you to put him under the same tests of Biblical scrutiny.
Today, the ultimate Biblical solution and advice will be given in this sermon. So whether you are dealing with obscure Docetism, Arianism, or even the more prevailing and corrupt sin nature theology, Pastor mark will emphasize today the necessity of searching the scriptures daily whether those things are so [Acts 17:11].
Finally, let me re-emphasize the point of this sermon: MOST things you will hear religiously today are NOT SO! So beware, and go back to the authority of the Textus Receptus Bible in its proper context, and you will be safe!
Austin Gatherings uses the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, and Pastor Mark Jones will be preaching today out of 1 John 4:1-3.
