O to see Christ in all of his fulness! This is the invitation found in Song 4:8 in today's text. What an eternity-changing vision. What would it do to your heart and mind and life decisions?
The Apostle Paul went into the third heaven and saw Jesus Christ and came back with a thorn to temper the revelation. Would anything change in the specter of this magnificent glory? Is it worth facing the aftermath of the messenger of Satan to buffet you? Indeed it would be worth much more buffeting: even to suffer a thousand hells (but, thanks be to God that is not the cost).
Therefore seek his face. Yay, seek his face evermore! Yay, seek the glory that excelleth! Why? Because this is the grand invitation from Christ (to the church) to come with him to Lebanon!
Austin Gatherings uses the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, and Pastor Mark Jones will be preaching today out of Song of Solomon 4:8.
