In Song 2:6, the state of the Christian life is a utopia in every sense of the word. Excepting persecutions, warfare, and trials, the bonafide peace-loving Christian has the wherewithal to live in heaven's state on the earth.
However, in Song 2:7 the Laodicean antagonist stirs and jangles until the whole of the common Christian experience is unsettling! In response, the Christians metaphorically inveigh against and charge the Laodicean (daughters of Jerusalem) with high crimes of disturbing the peace.

Austin Gatherings uses the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, and Pastor Mark Jones will be preaching today out of Song of Solomon 2:6-7.
