King Agrippa knew the Gospel of Jesus Christ! In fact, Agrippa believed the scriptures in a demonstrative, faith-building way. In his time, he seemed to have heaven's revelation and a deep understanding beyond the wisest men of the earth. Why? because the Apostle Paul himself diligently inculcated the Word of Truth into him. Wow! What advantages he had! He was supremely set up. Heaven and the Gospel had visited his house. Suddenly, Paul cried out with leading confidence "King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest!"
And yet, for all this advantage, King Agrippa shrunk back in tremulous doubt and said, "ALMOST thou persuadest me to be a Christian"! What? Almost persuaded? Where's the reformation? Where's the transformation? Where's the certainty of his faith? If he was a believer, why didn't he just believe?
So, the question today is the same question: "Why Don't Believers Believe"? Watch this sermon and find out the answer.
Austin Gatherings uses the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, and Pastor Mark Jones will be preaching today out of Acts 26:13-29.
