The Christian must take up the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vine. Taking them up means (in violent terms) killing them! These foxes by definition are the devilish head voices that speak with your own voice and produce instantaneous profane or blasphemous thoughts.
Worse yet, these little foxes blur the critical distinction between "THOUGHTS OF EVIL" (the devil's suggestion to your mind that you should think upon a certain profane maid with lust): and "EVIL THOUGHTS" (which is your own willful proclivity to think upon a maid, with lust).
This sermon is about our Christian revenge against one of the devil's biggest devices (the little foxes which spoil the vine). Stay with us and learn how to cast down imaginations and how to kill these little foxes.
Austin Gatherings uses the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, and Pastor Mark Jones will be preaching today out of Song of Solomon 2:15.
